Primary Table Tennis
Testwood Sports College
April 2nd 2009

The first ever Primary School table tennis festival for the New Forest took place in April with four schools attending.

All of the schools put on an excellent show for those watching. The festival was split into two sessions. The first was a skills session with different bases for the children to show off their skills with the bat and to earn some valuable points towards their overall totals.

The second session saw the children play in a ‘top table’ competition, with winning players progressing up the tables towards the top end. This is where the Breamore team came into their own with most of their team ending up on the top tables, earning them more valuable points towards their totals.

The final standings in the team event were: 1st Breamore Primary School; 2nd Abbotswood Junior School; 3rd New Milton Junior School and 4th Ringwood Junior School.

The event was supported by Waterside Table Tennis Club (Colin French) and the community table tennis coach and former professional player Adam Prozko.
Many Thanks to Waterside Table Tennis Club for their support and congratulations to all the competitors who took part.
